Camp Cost - $475 per week. 

Enroll now for a well-balanced FUN TECH camp for kids and teens. We offer one and two week camp experiences for all TECH enthusiasts, beginner and advanced.  Come and experience a collaborative, team oriented experience in technology where kids and teens learn to code, design games, make apps, create robotics and animation, 3D printing and much more.  Our curriculum is student centered and facilitated by highly qualified instructors in education and technology.   Our classes are small; no more than 8-10 students.  And don’t worry; we are not at the computer all week.  Campers will participate in weekly field trips to STEM based learning centers and museums in Long Island and NYC. Lunch and Snacks included. 

STUDENTS WILL CHOOSE ONE MAJOR ACTIVITY AS A FOCUS OF STUDY EACH WEEK AND ONE MINOR EXPLORATION ACTIVITY.

AFTERNOON SCHEDULE

Noon - 12:30 Lunch 

12:30 - 1:30 - Gameplay (Wii U, Xbox One, Minecraft, Virtual                              Reality Station, Board Games)

1:30p -3:00p – Minor Exploration Activity (Select One Each Week: 3D Printing, Animation, Music or Film Making)

3:00p - 4:00p - Extended Care PM (Additional Cost = $15/day) 

4:00p – 5:00p – Extended Care PM (Additional Cost = $15/day) 

      MORNING Schedule

Gamers can choose to play on our WiiU, XBox One or HTC VIVE Virtual Reality Gaming stations. At CulturePlay our gaming area is designed to make our players feel at home. Our instructors are there to supervise and guide the action.

Pizza will be provided if we have 3 or more gamers registered.

Roberto Joseph, PhD. (aka --DR. J)  Roberto is the founding owner of CulturePlay, and is Associate Professor and Graduate Director of Educational Technology programs at Hofstra University. He is a co-editor of a forthcoming book published by Routledge press, titled Culture, Learning and Technology: Research and Practice.

Brittany Brittany specializes in Animation, 3D Printing and Digital Art.  She especially loves working with our youngest students in her Tech Explorers classes. Brittany holds a BA degree in Visual Arts New Media & Media Management. Brittany is also a professional balloon artist, and she has written and illustrated a children's book. In addition to balloon twisting, she enjoys building with Legos, and video & photo editing. One of her favorite quotes is ...."Treat Yo Self." -Tom Haverford, Parks and Rec.  Brittany's favorite movies are Corraline & Wreck it Ralph.
